Why consider Cluenaverse?

  • Mystery-first - If you want a single, coherent mystery to solve while exploring (rather than a general scavenger hunt or bar crawl), Cluenaverse is built around that.
  • Streamlined experience - One app, one story, one quest: good if you prefer a clear narrative over a mix of challenge types.
  • Alternative style - When comparing Let's Roam with other options, Cluenaverse is a strong alternative for a story-driven city quest.

Bottom line

Let's Roam is a broad platform for scavenger hunts, bar crawls, team building and more across many cities. Cluenaverse is a focused mobile city quest built around solving a mystery in London. Pick Let's Roam for variety and global coverage; pick Cluenaverse for a dedicated mystery quest experience.

Cluenaverse is a mobile city quest and outdoor mystery experience. You follow a story, solve clues, and explore the city with your team. For a team, it is best if each player joins on their own phone. Our quests are self-guided. You play when you want, at your own pace, in central London.

Choose a quest, buy activation codes at checkout, then open the Cluenaverse app and redeem a code. Head to the start location with your team (2-6 players recommended). Each player should join the experience on their own phone. Follow the story - clues will guide you from location to location until you crack the case.

No. Cluenaverse quests are self-guided and flexible. Once you've bought a quest, you can start whenever it suits you (within the validity of your ticket). The app saves your progress if you want to pause and continue later.

Our quests are set in central London - areas like the South Bank, Westminster, Spitalfields, Bloomsbury, the City of London, and Covent Garden. Each quest has a different theme (murder mystery, spy thriller, literary mystery, and more) and a distinct route.

Most quests take between 2 and 3 hours if you move at a steady pace. You can take longer if you pause for food or drinks along the way. Duration is given on each quest page.

Quests are for colleagues, friends, families, and couples, in teams of 2 to 6. Age recommendations vary by quest - some are suitable for ages 10+, others for 12+ or 14+. Check the individual quest page for details.

Pricing is per quest location and is shown on each quest page when that location is for sale. You pay once for each activation code; your team of 2-6 typically shares one purchase (buy extra codes for larger groups).

Each player should bring a smartphone with the Cluenaverse app installed, plus comfortable shoes for walking and weather-appropriate clothing. No special equipment or prior knowledge of London is required.

Yes. A team gift voucher is one code for 2-6 players. You pay on the gift page, the code is emailed straight away, and it can be redeemed in the app from 1 March 2027. It is not tied to one quest yet. Unused codes can be refunded.

There is no time slot to cancel. Email the address in the footer and we will refund an activation code that has not been redeemed. A redeemed code is not refunded for a change of mind or the weather. If a fault on our side stops you finishing, we will refund or replace it. Details are in the Refunds and cancellation section of our Terms of Service.

Email the address in the site footer. We're happy to help with early access, the app, or questions about upcoming quests.
